Surigao City Ferry Terminal
The boats to Siargao leave from Surigao City Ferry Terminal, the Eva Macapagal Passenger Terminal. Surigao City's free airport shuttle for Siargao visitors runs straight there.
Several companies sail from the same terminal at different times, so check which one your ticket is for before you queue.
Dapa port on Siargao
Everything from Surigao arrives at Dapa port, on the south of Siargao. Dapa is not where most people stay: General Luna is about 20 to 40 minutes on by road.
Tricycles for the whole trip to General Luna were quoted at ₱250 to ₱300 in 2026 guides. Shared vans and multicabs are cheaper per person, listed from about ₱100 to ₱300. If you arrive on the last boat, book the ride before you cross.
Fastcraft or RoRo
Most crossings are fastcraft, passenger boats taking about an hour and a half to two hours. Evaristo and Sons also runs a RoRo, a roll-on roll-off ship that takes vehicles and motorbikes, once a day each way in its September 2026 timetable: 10:30 from Surigao and 16:00 from Dapa. Montenegro Shipping Lines runs RoRo ships on the crossing too.
If you are bringing a motorbike, the RoRo is the boat you need. Otherwise the fastcraft is quicker.
Siargao to Surigao
Boats leave Dapa port for Surigao City from 05:30 until the late afternoon: JP Shipping Lines at 05:30, Evaristo and Sons at 06:00, 11:30 and 13:00, Romans Road at 09:30 and 14:45, and Evaristo's RoRo at 16:00. The crossing takes about an hour and a half to two hours.

Leaving from Dapa port
The boats back leave from Dapa port, 20 to 40 minutes by road from General Luna. For the first boats, at 05:30 and 06:00, sleep near Dapa or book the tricycle the night before.
Arriving in Surigao City
The boats come in at Surigao City Ferry Terminal. If you are going on to Cebu by sea, check which terminal your onward ferry uses.
Siargao to Cebu through Surigao
A 06:00 fastcraft from Dapa connects with Starlite Ferries' 09:00 sailing from Surigao, due in Cebu at 19:00, and OceanJet leaves Surigao at 13:00 for Cebu, due at 18:30. Starlite's overnight boat from Cebu to Surigao sails at 21:00, Monday to Saturday.
Fastcraft companies from Surigao to Siargao
Surigao City, on the Mindanao mainland, is the port for Siargao. Every scheduled boat to the island crosses from there to Dapa, on Siargao's south coast.
Evaristo and Sons runs the fastest boats, about an hour and a half, and posts its timetable on its Facebook page week by week. Romans Road Shipping Lines, JP Shipping Lines, Vince Gabriel Liner and Siargao Adventures fill in the rest of the day, taking about an hour and a half to two hours. Between them, for 7 October 2026, there were ten crossings on sale from Surigao, from 04:30 to about 15:30.
You do not need to fly into Siargao to use them. People arriving from Cebu by the overnight Starlite ferry, or by air into Surigao, take the morning boats across.

Several 2026 guides quote Evaristo at ₱420 to ₱520, which is lower than its own September class fares. Bought at the terminal or through its own channels, Evaristo was cheaper than on 12Go.
Surigao airport, Cebu and the road to General Luna
Flying into Surigao. Surigao City runs a free shuttle from its airport to the Eva Macapagal Passenger Terminal, where the boats to Dapa leave, for passengers arriving on a flight from Cebu with a booking at a registered Siargao resort. Show your flight itinerary and the resort confirmation at the Tourist Assistance Desk in arrivals. The shuttle meets every scheduled flight and makes no other stops.
From Cebu by sea. Starlite Ferries sails overnight from Cebu Pier 3 at 21:00, Monday to Saturday, and reaches Surigao in time for the morning boats. OceanJet's day fast craft leaves Cebu at 07:00 and is due in Surigao at 12:30, in time for the 15:30 fastcraft to Dapa.

Evaristo and Sons does not keep one timetable for the year. It posts a new schedule for the coming week on its Facebook page, and the times can move from one week to the next. Search your date before you plan a connection around a particular boat, and leave a gap after it.
