Carries vehicles. | ### Cebu pier for the Bohol ferry The boats to Bohol leave from the Cebu City port, not from Mactan-Cebu airport, and the companies do not share one pier. OceanJet lists its office at Pier 4 on McArthur Road. Lite Ferries' own booking system sends its Tubigon boats from Pier 3 and its Tagbilaran boats from Pier 1, and 2026 fare listings put FastCat's Cebu terminal at Pier 2. An office address is not the same thing as a berth, so go to the pier printed on your ticket. ### Arriving at Tagbilaran port OceanJet comes in at Tagbilaran port, the port for Tagbilaran City and for Panglao. From the port, Panglao is reached by tricycle, car or jeepney; agree a tricycle or car fare before you set off. FastCat and Lite Ferries come in at Tubigon, on the north-west coast, not at Tagbilaran. Choose Tubigon when the middle or north of Bohol is where you are going, or when you are bringing a car. ### OceanJet baggage allowance and classes Since 6 February 2026, OceanJet's Tourist and Open Air tickets include **10 kg** of baggage and Business **20 kg**. Trolley and collapsible bags must be checked in rather than carried on, and excess is charged per kilo. Booking listings show OceanJet's Tourist class on this run with air-conditioning, a toilet and a TV. Book online or at the counter, and remember that booking sites add their own fee to the operator's fare. ## Bohol to Cebu ferry OceanJet sails from Tagbilaran to Cebu City thirteen times a day, from 06:00 to 17:40, in about two hours. If you are staying on Panglao, the road to the port comes first. FastCat and Lite Ferries leave from Tubigon. ### Cebu port to Mactan airport Everything from Bohol arrives at the Cebu City port. No boat goes to Mactan-Cebu airport, so a flight means a road journey from the port onto Mactan island. ### Bohol ferry to a same-day flight from Cebu The boat is the fixed part of that day and the road to the airport is the part that varies. From 16 to 30 September 2026 it cancelled the 12:20 and 18:40 from Cebu and the 10:00 and 18:30 from Tagbilaran, citing fuel costs, and moved their passengers to earlier boats; the two evening sailings were still off sale for October. Passengers on a cancelled sailing can have a full refund or rebook free of charge at an OceanJet ticket office. If the weather turns, check the Coast Guard advisory and your sailing on the morning you travel. ## Cebu to Bohol ferry options: Tagbilaran, Tubigon or Loon Three crossings link Cebu and Bohol. **Cebu City to Tagbilaran** is the busiest. OceanJet runs fast craft all day, and Tagbilaran is the port for the city and for Panglao, where many visitors stay. **Cebu City to Tubigon** is the vehicle crossing. FastCat and Lite Ferries run roll-on roll-off ferries to Bohol's north-west coast, cheaper than OceanJet and running through the night, and both take cars. Lite Ferries also puts its LiteCat fastcraft on this run, two hours against three on its roll-on roll-off boat, for a few pesos more. Lite Ferries also sails **Cebu to Tagbilaran** itself, at 13:00 and 22:00, in about four hours. It is the slow, cheap way to the Panglao side, and the 22:00 is the latest boat of the day to Bohol from anyone. **Argao to Loon**, further south, is Lite Ferries' route between the south of Cebu and Bohol's west coast, one the company has run since 1990. It suits people already in the south of Cebu. ## OceanJet Cebu to Tagbilaran schedule 2026 OceanJet's February 2026 timetable has fourteen sailings each way. On 16 September 2026 it cancelled the evening pair, the 18:40 from Cebu and the 18:30 from Tagbilaran, to save fuel, and neither was on sale for 1, 7 or 14 October. These are the sailings it was selling for October: **Cebu to Tagbilaran:** 05:10, 06:00, 07:00, 08:20, 09:20, 10:40, 11:40, 12:20, 13:00, 14:00, 15:20, 16:20, 17:40 **Tagbilaran to Cebu:** 06:00, 07:05, 08:20, 09:20, 10:00, 10:40, 11:40, 13:00, 14:00, 15:20, 16:20, 17:00, 17:40 Until 30 September the 12:20 from Cebu and the 10:00 from Tagbilaran are cancelled too, and their passengers go on earlier boats. So the last OceanJet of the day now leaves at 17:40 in both directions. If you land at Mactan in the late afternoon, that is the boat to aim for, and after it your choices are Lite Ferries' 22:00 to Tagbilaran or the Tubigon ferries. One trap: the OceanJet daily schedule that ranks first in many searches is dated 31 August 2023. Its times are not the current ones. ## Cebu to Bohol ferry fare 2026 **OceanJet, Cebu to Tagbilaran, from 21 September 2026:** - Tourist or Open Air: ₱960 - Business: ₱1,440 That is a 10 percent fuel surcharge on top of the ₱880 and ₱1,320 charged from 10 July. OceanJet added it on all its routes, filed it with MARINA's Central Visayas office on 16 September, and calls it temporary until fuel prices settle. A ticket priced before 21 September at the old fare is worth checking at the counter. **The slower boats, as sold or listed for early October 2026:** - Lite Ferries to Tagbilaran: from ₱520, bunk without air-conditioning - Lite Ferries to Tubigon: from ₱384 on the roll-on roll-off, ₱429 on the LiteCat fastcraft - FastCat to Tubigon: ₱392 Economy, ₱439 Premium Economy, ₱487 Business on its own rate page FastCat's online booking was down for maintenance on 23 September 2026, and fare listings from August 2026 show its Tubigon fares higher, at ₱438 to ₱543, so carry enough for either. Students, senior citizens and PWD pay less on both Tubigon lines, and FastCat carries children aged three and under free. ## Tagbilaran port to Panglao, Siquijor and Dumaguete **Panglao.** Tagbilaran is where the boat lands and Panglao is where the airport and many resorts are. From the port it is a tricycle, car or jeepney ride; settle the fare for a tricycle or car first. **Onward by sea.** From Tagbilaran, OceanJet continues to Siquijor at 07:30 and 15:20 and to Dumaguete at 10:40. From Jagna, on Bohol's east coast, boats go to Camiguin and to Nasipit in Mindanao. ## Cebu to Bohol ferry FAQ ### What time is the first ferry from Cebu to Bohol? OceanJet's first departure to Tagbilaran is 05:10. For Tubigon, Lite Ferries sails at 00:30 and 01:00 and FastCat at 01:30. ### What time is the last ferry from Cebu to Bohol? OceanJet's last departure to Tagbilaran is now 17:40, since the 18:40 was cancelled in September 2026. After that, Lite Ferries leaves for Tagbilaran at 22:00. SuperCat's own schedule showed no Cebu to Tagbilaran trips, and none were on sale for 7 October 2026, although some guides still print its old timetable.
